We welcome letters from our readers on issues of public concern. Letters must be signed and include the full address and
both daytime and evening phone numbers for verification. The names and hometown of the letter-writer will be included
with the letter. Telephone numbers will not be published.
Letters, which are edited and sometimes condensed, should be no more than 350 words. A person or group may only
submit one letter per month.
We don't publish poetry, letters sent to other newspapers or other groups or letters on consumer or employee/employer disputes.
The deadline for submitting a letter is noon Mondays. Please enter the following
